WarpFinger TM utilizes Warwick Warp's patented technology designed to reduce error rates significantly by correcting the linear and elastic deformation caused by the uneven pressure of the finger on the imaging surface. A robust feature extraction and modeling technique is immune to noise and has the ability to incorporate sweat pore extraction (3rd level features) to significantly reduce the fail to enroll rate.

Our unique modelling technique is robust to noisy, smudged, scratched and other low quality fingerprints and it provides a more accurate alignment of the linear and non-linear deformation of prints. Our unique alignment process does not rely on minutiae points and does not operate on a pair-wise fashion. The technology ensures a fast and reliable matching performance on both PC based and embedded systems. Our compact modelling technique also increases the data security as well as reduces the bandwidth requirement and hardware cost. The nature of our algorithm is designed to be highly scalable and maintain the system performance when the database sizes increases.
